Cuba Itinerary

November 11: Arrival in Havana
On arrival at the José Martí International Airport (or Rancho-Boyeros Airport), you'll be met by a GOOD Travel representative and we'll travel as a group to the pioneering ecovillage of Las Terrazas. This reforestation project dates back to 1968 and is now a Unesco Biosphere Reserve. Following a welcome briefing, we’ll spend the rest of the day relaxing in Hotel Moka, one of Cuba's few eco hotels with fantastic views over the Las Terrazas community.

November 12: Las Terrazas
We'll explore the area of Las Terrazas and take part in a workshop with a local artist. You'll have the opportunity to learn about life as an artist in Cuba as well as create your own souvenir out of recycled paper.

November 13: Viñales
We'll take a short drive to the town of Viñales.  We'll be staying with several local families in their Casas Particulares throughout our stay in Viñales. We'll spend the rest of the day settling into our homestays, exploring the beautiful town and enjoying a baseball game with the local kids.

November 14: Viñales
We’ll jump on bicycles and head to a local tobacco farm. You'll have the opportunity to experience life on a Cuban farm and learn how to roll a cigar!

November 15: Viñales/Cayo Jutias/Viñales
We’ll start bright and early and travel in classic cars to Cayo Jutias, Pinar del Rio's most 'undiscovered beach', a long stretch of sand at the northern tip. We’ll spend the day at the beach and return to Viñales in time for a salsa class at the local cultural center.

November 16: Habana Vieja
After a short drive, we'll arrive back in Havana where you'll have the day to explore at your leisure. We'll be staying with local host families in Habana Vieja throughout our stay in Havana.

November 17: Habana Vieja
We'll take part in an Artisans Discovery tour where we'll visit local markets and have the opportunity to buy souvenirs directly from local artisans to support their work. In the evening, we'll have our farewell dinner followed by a visit to Cuba's most famous jazz club.

November 18: Departure from Havana
Hasta luego everyone!
