December 28th: Orientation day
After a leisurely breakfast, we will have our welcome meeting and a Possibilitology workshop from Vallori Thomas to set the tone for the adventures ahead. December 29th: Exploring Rio by day - and by night!
In the morning, we’ll take a tour of Rio de Janeiro winding through the narrow lanes of the city while your guide fills you in on the history and legends of the area. You will visit sites like the Metropolitan Cathedral, Carioca Square, Confeitaria Colombo (the oldest coffee shop in Rio de Janeiro), the Centro Cultural do Banco do Brasil and the Mosteiro de São Bento (a UNESCO World Heritage Monument).
In the evening, we'll visit a dance studio to take a samba class with a local expert. Your teacher will then take you out into the city to get a true taste of Rio’s vibrant history and nightlife.

After a leisurely breakfast, Vallori Thomas will lead a Possibilitology workshop. The rest of the day will be all about celebrating in magical Rio de Janeiro!
